When we looked at the DHEA tertiles, an expected trend toward a reduced risk of pancreatic cancer was notable; therefore, the third tertile of DHEA compared to the first was associated with a lower risk of pancreatic cancer (adjusted OR = 0.05, 95% CI: 0.004–0.69).
