By quantifying the relationships between elements of the hierarchic structure derived from the EEG electrodes, it was possible to examine both instantaneous (non-local) and non-instantaneous (local) interactions between each participant’s EEG electrode QP ( QP elec , t , participant ), showing highly significant differences among participants with various neuropsychiatric and neurocognitive diagnoses.
