Despite that the majority of translational work focuses on IL-17A (given the body of preexisting work based on psoriasis), significant elevations of other IL-17 isoforms, including IL-17C and IL-17F, are observed in hidradenitis suppurativa tissue, 81 , 82 and these may be significant contributors to disease activity that are not targeted by anti-IL-17A therapies alone.
