Imaging early nerve fibers in the well‐characterized cutaneous trigeminal territory, the brachial plexus, and thorax revealed very marked and highly significant decreases in nerve fiber length and branching density in Nrg4 −/− embryos compared with Nrg4 +/+ littermates.
