In conclusion, our study did not observe any direct association between allele and genotype frequencies of SNPs rs35934224 and rs6478746 in TXNDR2 and LMX1B , respectively, and POAG or its related phenotypes such as IOP and cup/disc ratio, suggesting that these SNPs may not be significant risk factors of POAG in this ethnic group.
