The receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) analysis using the expression levels of the studied genes was used to assess the accuracy of these results and revealed that; there were highly significant decreases in the expression levels of the studied genes after treating isolates with sub-MICs of ZnO-NPs with high sensitivity and specificity as shown in (Table 3 ).\ Discussion The multidrug resistant strains of S. aureus are increasing, making the treatment more difficult.
