Second, for injection of sinusoidal current waveforms ( Figure 7 B; n = 14 left-right pairs of neurons, N = 12 animals), average spiking frequencies for 10/14 pairs of RS neurons (71% of pairs; p = 0.09) and peak spiking frequencies for 10/14 pairs of neurons ( p = 0.09) were lower for injured compared to those for uninjured RS neurons, although the p values were not quite significant, possibly because of comparatively lower n values.
