In “1–5 cm” subgroups, 91.7%, 50.0%, 50.0%, 30.0%, and 25.0% biopsies were P16 methylation positive, respectively, showing a decreasing trend with the increase in the distance from the biopsy site to the tumor mass/lesion ( p trend <0.05).
