In conclusion, our findings on anodal tsDCS-induced reduction of nociceptive reflex (RIII reflex area) and pain intensity (although marginally significant) in chronic pain subjects confirm that a non-invasive spinal neuromodulatory technique could modulate central nociceptive signal transmission and pain perception.
