Another RCT conducted in inoperable lung cancer patients also demonstrated an increasing trend in time spent in physical activity in the control group participants who received exercise education materials, though in a smaller magnitude than the exercise group. 42 These may be explained by the possibility that participants who consented to participate in exercise-related research tended to have high motivation to increase exercise behavior.
