Predominant highly significant correlation coefficients between variables proved the application of PCA to be justified and promising; however, lipophilic and electronic parameters, aromaticity indices, and FTIR and NMR parameters (those that significantly change position in the spectra depending on the number and location of the substituents in the ring) were used as input variables to the PCA, while anti-/pro-oxidant and antimicrobial potential were used as accompanying variables.
