However, we observed that the hiPSC lines generated from urine-derived cells showed an increasing trend to generate hPGCLCs compared to skin fibroblast-derived lines. hiPSCs are known to retain levels of epigenetic memory from the cell source of origin, which subsequently can result in bias towards differentiation into particular cell lineages [ 55 , 56 , 57 , 58 , 59 ].
