Concerning pyelonephritis-related hospitalizations from 2000–2015, a decreasing trend annual was observed among male patients, AAPCs from 2000–2015–0.6 (95% CI -1.1; 0.0) while an annual 0.6% (95% CI 0.2;1.0) increasing trend was observed among female patients.
