The results of this study’s evaluation clearly indicate that this series of initiatives has achieved good results at the national level ( Figure 3 ): China’s EHI increased from 0.6395 in 2013 to 0.7029 in 2019, showing a positive trend, which is consistent with China’s performance in the SDGs evaluation (the SDGs evaluation started in 2016).
