Additionally, while CD on average had mild cognitive impairment (MoCA score of 24.9), there was no significant difference in cognitive function as assessed by STROOP and TMT tests between the CD and CN, consistent with one study showing only a trending association between cognitive impairment and depression [ 27 ] and another study finding only borderline significance for the copy drawing test, which assesses visuospatial and praxis skills [ 28 ].
