After the confounding factors were adjusted, HRs of all-cause mortality (HR, 95% CI) were 1.29 (0.63–2.62), 1.38 (0.71–2.70), and 2.90 (1.57–5.34) for the second, third, and fourth quartiles, respectively, showing an increasing trend in the risk of death.
