Plasma total protein showed significantly ( P < 0.05) elevated trend with increasing dietary Val level up to 18.0 g kg −1 diet, thereafter decrease in plasma total protein was noted, whereas as alkaline phosphatase (ALP) content showed a decreasing trend with each incremental Val concentrations.
