Compared with participants without diabetes, those with diabetes had a borderline significant 34% (95% CI 0.96;1.87) higher risk of cognitive impairment when assessed by the GCF Z-score, and a non-significant 30% (95%CI 1.01;1.68) higher risk of impairment based on the VFT-a test after the false discovery rate correction.
