In addition, EBV DNA copy numbers were positively correlated to sCD27 in serum at baseline in patients with measurable EBV DNA copy number (borderline significant), which might be attributed to the fact that an EBV infection triggers CD70 expression which, in turn, increases activity of CD27‐CD70 axis. 8 Interestingly, this correlation was absent following the first two administrations of cusatuzumab.
