Interestingly, there was a highly significant association between the expression of CBX3 and EGFR mutations in NSCLC patients. 27 Inhibition of EGFR signal did not change the expression level of CBX3 in NSCLC cell, suggesting that the expression of CBX3 may be independent of EGFR downstream signals.
