The results of this study showed that in the liver tissue of rats with BCS, NF-κB and other inflammatory-related indicators showed an increasing trend in the early stage, reaching a peak at 3 wk, and decreased at a later stage, while it remained significantly higher than other two groups at 12 wk, which showed that the inflammatory reaction mediated by NF-κB not only penetrated the entire course of BCS-associated liver damage, but also caused a different degree of reaction at different periods.
