NSAID treatment was associated with a lower second cancer incidence in patients with hypertension (adjusted SHR 0.37, 95% CI 0.20–0.68) but not in those without hypertension (adjusted SHR 0.74, 95% CI 0.51–1.10), and the hypertension–NSAID interaction reached a borderline significance (p = 0.077).
