Parents’ dietary habits and their health-supporting behaviours play an extremely significant role in shaping the children’s preferences for fruit and vegetables, which means that working with parents on an ongoing basis, with an emphasis on health-promoting education, should be an inherent part of the scheme’s accompanying measures.
