This scarcity is especially palpable in non-western regions, despite the high numbers of migrants and refugees hosted in these countries and an increasing trend of NCDs observed. 18 66–69 Despite having some of the most congested migration routes and supplying the highest number of international migrants globally, none of our included studies were from Asia.
