South Asian (IRR 0.67 95% CI 0.42–0.77) and South-East Asian (IRR 0.71 95% CI 0.60–0.84) women aged 20–75 years also had lower rates of ER+ tumors compared to the non-immigrant reference group, and South Asian women had a higher rate of ER- tumors, however only borderline significant (IRR 1.36 95% CI 1.00–1.85).
