Even though a venous outflow occlusion is one of the most feared situations during AVM embolization, there is an increasing trend toward using transvenous embolization in selective cases especially when the AVM is deeply located with small tortious feeders or a complex anatomy of the passage feeders, making the use of transarterial embolization difficult [ 83 , 84 , 85 ].
