In this group, we observed a decreasing trend in the median and range of captured cells (spiraled wire) as the stage of the primary tumor increased, with a median of 9 (range 7–44) in pT1 tumors, 5 (range 2–24) in pT2 tumors and 5 (range 2–11) in pT3 tumors.
