In this respect it is noteworthy that in Study 1 the impulsivity scale showed a highly significant positive correlation with the CRT- Intuitive measure as well as highly significant negative correlation with the CRT- Reflective measure and AOT score, suggesting overlapping variance with these measures that might manifest in individual differences in people’s susceptibility to the negative footprint illusion in a higher-powered study.
