The sentences
Relationships between colony composition and architectural variables Considering the set of the 152 complete nests collected, some highly significant positive correlations, such as those found between the total number of workers per nest and the total number of larvae ( S1A Fig ) or pupae ( S1B Fig ) or between these last two categories of brood ( S1C Fig ), provided a good description of both the temporal and colony-level life of the colonies and their success because the higher the number of workers, the higher the brood production.
