Although the number of subjects and statistical power had an adequate standard, probably a larger sample of subjects could support that results with a tendency toward statistical significance ( P between 0.05 and 0.08) become significant ( P < 0.05), especially in the case of the technical limitation, which decreased the number of analyzed samples of FNDC5/irisin and natriuretic peptides.
