Depression symptoms The analysis of data using the Mann–Whitney U -test revealed that after 12 months of active treatment, the general level of depression symptoms significantly decreased from 21 to 14 ( Table 2 ) (median decrease 3, P < 0.0001) among Polish patients and showed a highly significant reduction from 22 to 12 (median decrease 7, P < 0.0001) in the Germany patients.
