These physiological parameters can be affected by age, sex, fitness level, and/or genetic factors ( Kostis et al., 1982 ; De Meersman, 1992 ; Agelink et al., 2001 ; Almeida and Araújo, 2003 ; Carter et al., 2003 ; Harms, 2006 ; Cornelissen et al., 2010 ) which makes defining a general, practically significant change in one of these parameters impossible without having a qualified healthcare professional take into account a specific person’s physiology.
