3 Karkouti et al reported that, MO, chin protrusion (similar to AP in our study), and atlanto-occipital extension (similar to NM in our case) were highly significant for predicting difficult intubation. 21 Prakash et al reported that Mallampati classes III and IV, range of neck movement <80°, IID ≤ 3.5 cm and snoring were independently related to difficult intubation. 2 Conclusion The study findings show that Hazara ethnicity, female patients, increasing age and systemic disease have significant associations with difficult intubation.
