Comparing studies using a similar density per well (from 2 to 5 × 10 3 cells/well) it is possible to see that antiproliferative effects of morphine on BC cell lines seem to be associated with a reduced exposure time (up to 3 days) [ 26 , 39 ], while a stimulation of proliferative effect appears to be markedly significant only at exposures longer than 3 days [ 41 , 43 ].
