Among those without diabetes mellitus, groups with only a high level of hs-CRP (adjusted HR = 2.89; 95% CI = 1.27 ~ 6.56; P = 0.011) and HbA1c (adjusted HR = 2.27; 95% CI = 1.11 ~ 4.67; P = 0.026; Table 3 ) both had a greater risk of ACD, whereas those with high levels of both hs-CRP and HbA1c showed borderline significant results ( P = 0.055).
