In terms of the incidence, over the complete period of the study (1998–2017), there is a decreasing trend of all drowning (adjusted R 2 : 0.40), suicidal drowning (adjusted R 2 : 0.15), accidental drowning (adjusted R 2 : 0.26) and drowning due to transportation (adjusted R 2 : 0.03) (Fig. 4 ).
