The soil bacterial richness and diversity index showed an increasing trend after continuous cropping, which was consistent with the findings of previous studies into continuous cropping for Andrographis paniculata , Vanilla planifolia , and Rehmannia glutinosa , contrary to findings regarding coffee, American ginseng , and Panax notoginseng 21 – 26 .
