marginally significantp = 0.032
Comparing absolute antibody concentrations, we found a marginally significant higher concentration of antibodies in the NS cases than in the community controls (0.078 versus 0.059 AU/mL, respectively, p = 0.032, Mann–Whitney U test), yet no difference was found between the NS cases and the household controls (0.078 versus 0.070 AU/mL, respectively, p = 0.260, Mann–Whitney U test).
