3.5 Candidate Genes for Important QTLs Based on the GWAS results, we were able to determine seven important QTLs: qRI1c, qRI1d, qSGr3, qAGr4, qBM9a, qSGr9a , and qAGr9 ( qCL9b and qRI9b ), based on their large phenotypic effects and LOD peaks of multiple highly significant SNPs mapped to a small region of ∼1 Mb or to a fine mapped QTL/cloned gene of functional relevance.
