The results of the statistical analysis described above demonstrated that the local inflammatory response and the necrotic areas generated in response to all the biomaterials gradually decreased, suggested an overall trend towards no aggravation and even alleviation of the inflammatory responses elicited by these three endodontic biomaterials. 3.4. iRoot SP and HiFlow Promoted M2-like Macrophage Polarization The inflammatory response elicited by the biocompatible implant model in vivo mainly involved macrophage infiltration, and this response is also known as the foreign body reaction.
