4 , 18 , 19 A decreasing trend in the level of adherence from patients with more serious CV profile to those in primary prevention was observed, in line with other studies reporting that patients with higher perceived CV risk are less likely to be non-adherent. 20 Our findings showed that overall mean total costs decreased from low adherent to adherent patients in clusters of patients with CV comorbidities.
