Consistently, analyzing data from 1 January 2011, we observed an increasing trend in the number of HCC diagnoses per 10-month interval until the COVID-19 pandemic ( Figure 1 ), while in the last two periods the number of HCC diagnoses was lower than expected ( Table 2 ).
