Half maximal effective succinate concentration (EC50) for ROS production rate was extracted with a sigmoidal fit ( Figure 3 C) and compared with each other at all temperatures: 5.2 ± 0.4, 4.8 ± 0.9, 5.1 ± 0.5, 3.0 ± 0.6, and 3.4 ± 0.3 mM, for 15, 20, 25, 31, and 37 °C, respectively, in BM, with a significant difference between 15 and 31 °C ( p = 0.033) and almost significant between 25 and 31 °C ( p = 0.052).
