It is clear that in perovskite cells the binding energy of excitons is crucial for the efficiency and velocity of the charge extraction, which is completely opposite to the case in p-n junction cells, where the binding energy of excitons has a rather marginal significance, connected only with the exciton recombination rate (the higher the exciton binding energy is, the more rapidly recombination takes place).
