An increasing trend in CD44 and CPT1A protein was observed in primary sites from patients with LNM relative to those from patients without LNM, but the YAP protein was not different, which may be caused by the transcriptional co-factor property of YAP and abnormal distribution and nuclear translocation of YAP in the invasive front as reported by Lee et al.
