For example, the frequency of IgA nephropathy in NiS patients was by far highest among adults, while in the contexts of nephrotic syndrome or sub-nephritic proteinuria, pediatric patients were the age subclass most likely to be diagnosed with the entity, with a decreasing trend being detected with increases in the age subclasses (lower for adults and then the lowest in the elderly)[ 2 , 3 ].
