When querying which motor features assessed by the MDS-UPDRS part III were significantly correlated with the physical activity level, an overall trend towards diminished scores with higher levels of physical activity across all motor sub-scores was observed, but it only reached statistical significance in the case of axial symptoms ( r = − 0.42, p value = 0.0137, Fig. 1 B).
