The study found the mean TFMH in patients with no dry eye to be 0.7 ± 1.96 mm, and 0.2 ± 1.38 mm in patients with dry eyes, suggesting a statistically highly significant correlation (using Kruskal-Walis test) with the severity of dry eye as compared to non-dry eye patients in the TFMH test (P < 0.0001).
