It is conceivable that the dosimetric effect for conventionally fractionated patients is less because any misalignments are spread out over more fractions 3 , 4 ; however, our analysis showed that undercoverage was highly significant even on a per-patient basis, suggesting that treatment over a larger number of fractions (or examining more CBCTs) would not change our findings.
