In the sleep duration analysis, the group with long sleep durations (≥8 h/day) had a higher incidence of CKD than the group with normal (6 to <8 h/day) or short sleep duration (<6 h/day), but the analysis, adjusted for various risk factors, showed marginal significance only when compared with the group with short sleep durations ( Table 2 ).
